Ssshhh...shes sleeping...

Isnt she just stunning? This is a little Fairy asleep on a bauble i bought from the vey talented Stephanie at last years Country living fair. I discovered this lady a few years ago, but only purchased some of her lovliness in November. Ive admired her work for a long time and was so proud to finally own one(?!)of my own. She hung above my bed, A. so that i can see her when im lying in it and B. i thought she might help me sleep!....She is made from the most beautiful raspberry and green colours, with two intricate butterflys nearby for company-oh and how those stripy tights make me swoon!!! I must have stood at Stephanies stand for a good hour-which wasnt easy as you may remember it was a tiny stall. There were other women trying to get in there but was determind to choose wisely, i almost bought one asleep in a tea cup but i thought i could display this one where i could appreciate it more easily than the teacup.

I also picked up a couple of her friends....

These two brooches reeeallly make me smile when i wear them, although they're delicate i still do, as i dont believe in keeping things for 'best'. The one below is my 'spring' one, dont you just love her little tulle skirt?!...the one above is my 'winter' one, she has two little cherries hanging next to her, although you can only see one in this photo for some reason. Theres also a tiny polymer flower, a metal one and a tiny metal heart with key hole cut out, the amazing craftmanship is finished perfectly with a tiny knotted piece of cherry ribbon!

They give me pure enjoyment to wear and look at, love them.
