Introducing Harry

Good morning all, hope you are well. I managed to fit in a very small post inbetween some chutney making(rhubard, yum!), alot of gardening, and alot of work(the paid kind)...hope you're all enjoying snuggles and tea and biscuits as its bloomin chilly here at the moment!
I wanted to introduce you to someone new today, you probably recall me mentioning that Mr P's mum was getting a dog the same as Ted, well, harry is a chocolate working cocker spaniel, the same as Ted, only 3 weeks younger, but the two of them could not be more different!
This is Ted(my boy)...
And this is Harry...
Just look at that shaggy Teddy bear fur! He is SO fluffy-ive honestly never seen anything like it. Im told its a pain because its hard to brush and keep clean...its that ever so soft, almost greasy to the touch kind of fluff, its terrible for getting grass and dirt stuck in it and goes mega frizzy if you do brush it, but imagine how warm it must be?!
He has a very different face shape to Ted and is really chunky and muscular compared to my skinny little boy!
Look at those innocent eyes-dont be fooled, he is the first of the family dogs to ever take it upon himself to climb onto the kitchen table, curl up, and fall asleep...then get caught in the act! It did not go down well with Mr P senior! lol.
And heres Harry greeting his playmate for the day, he and Ted have great fun, even if Harry is a bit of a brute!

What a hairy bear ? Gorgeous though !
Archie has finally grown a hairy chest but he'd have a long way to go to match hairy Harry ... x

Ted and Harry are beautiful dogs but then I am biased. I too have a working cocker spaniel called Alfie. Every WCS that I have met has had a wonderful nature. I know that innocent, pleading look all too well!! I am sure that they practice it when they are with their mothers!

aww. they are so cute!

Well, thank you SO MUCH for identifying the plant! I was about 80% sure it was an orchid, but when I googled I couldn't find anything the same, similar, yes, but the same, no. Now I know the name I can google it again! I had half wondered about the bee name, as a couple of weeks ago I saw the Halycon lake diaries or whatever it's called on BBC1, and Phillipa Forrester was going on about a bee orchid. That's the only reason I thought it could be an orchid of some kind. I'm quite excited that it chose to live in our garden, though it's by the path, so not totally ideal.

Thank you again. It's made my day!

Have a lovely weekend. Are you a football widow? I am! xx
