Waiting!

Yes, thats me today, waiting. First day of the holidays and i have to wait for 'the man' to come and take a look at my washing mahine. Its been poorly for a few days now, first making a very loud clunking sound when its on a fast spin, then i came home on friday to find it full of bits of rubber-which smelled disgusting. I have piles of washing all over the house just waiting! Hopefully he will get here in good time and not at 5.30pm, and hopefully he'll have the right bits with him to be able to sort it! Im making the most of being grounded, ive made the beds, tidied the house, and completed the next stage of the loo makeover, at least i have more beautiful Dhalias from saturday to keep me going. I put my little CK jug by my bed so i could admire them whenever i go into my room-so pretty!

Hi there!
I love your blog and the home you've created for your family. I hope you don't mind that I've become a follower. It's easier for me to find your lovely posts.
Hope the washing machine is fixed soon.

oh no, it's so horrible when stuff like that happens.

Hope you little one is getting on OK with her first few school days and hope by now your machine is fixed and whirling away nicely.

I'm in the same situation, but mine will only be fixed (hopefully!) tomorrow afternoon. It has been horrible as little is teething and on solids so his washing pile is growing enormous by the day.
Love your jug! :)

What a lovely blog... so glad I found you! My fridge died in shock last week... I cleaned it and it promptly gave up (note to self, not to be so clean!!)... back to camping i.e cool box on doorstep!
Hope the machine gets a new lease of life soon before you are drowning in washing!

Anything else you can manage without for a bit, but a broken washing machine is a total disaster - especially when you have farm boys to keep clean!
